How to format calculated fields in Generic Inquiries.
From your Generic Inquiry, select Customizations.
This will open up your Generic Inquiry “coding”.
Under the Tab, “Results Grid”, go to the column that say Schema Field.
You can pick any data element that is formatted in the fashion you want for your calculated field.
Then Save this work and view your Generic Inquiry again. You will now see the results of the requested formatting.
In a similar fashion, you can take a numeric field and assign an alpha column in the Schema Field column, you will see that the numeric values take on a more text looking view with many decimal places appearing.
