Healthcare rules and regulations are constantly changing. Staying up to date is a daunting task, and can be very time consuming. Tracking compliance is essential to keep your business running and healthy. Not keeping accurate track of employee information can lead to problems. For instance, the new overtime rules being rolled out by the Department of Labor (DOL) are going to affect businesses all across the nation; “the DOL estimates that 80% of employers have some degree of non-compliance with wage-hour laws (F&H Solutions group)”.
DOL Overtime Rules will take effect on December 1, and companies that are not compliant can be taken directly to court and will face legal action. It is paramount that your business has a system to accurately track data from your employees in order to be able to easily prove compliance to the DOL.
