Garnishments can play a time-consuming role in an organization’s HR and payroll departments regardless of size, industry, or location. Keeping track of garnishment calculations and proper payments to agencies pose a risk. There is also paperwork and reporting that must be submitted on a timely basis to keep everything in compliance with the various states, counties, and federal agencies.

Any one of the above processes can cause severe penalties if not handled correctly. As you can see, the manual process that was acceptable years ago has put a tremendous strain on organizations today as the costs and risks rise and have become burdensome. The labor costs for added employees to handle the garnishment process alone has increased tremendously due to the time dedicated and the expertise one needs to obtain and continuously train for in order to meet all agency compliance requirements.

But there is good news: there are applications available today that can automate the process! They use current rules and regulations for all state and federal agencies. Garnishment programs streamline the once manual intensive process and ensure greater adherence to documentation and deadlines - all by simply clicking the mouse.

I’m sure that you agree having an automated application would make a great investment as it will save money, time, and lower the risk of mistakes and oversights.
