September Employees of the Month
Published on by Gary Crouch in Blog Posts, CS3 Technology

It seems September was another stellar month for employees exhibiting great characteristics in serving our customers. Once again, the management team felt the two winners for the month each deserved the recognition which simply could not be deferred (because we have more for October!) I am very excited to announce the following winners in alphabetical order.

Jessica Morency

Look for Improvements. Your relationship is based on trust and your ability to find and create solutions. Help your client identify needs they might not be aware of by looking past the immediate pain and finding the root cause. Propose solutions or further research with the goal of developing alternatives.

Jessica “always look for improvements’ Morency. Yes, that is her middle name! Since the day she arrived she has looked at the firm as a whole. She looks and finds improvements in her position, but as frequently sees areas of improvement throughout the firm. She fully believes that as our firm advances, the quality of services and experience for the customer advances as well. There is not a week that goes by without a suggestion. When recently asked about ideas to provide additional items of value for our customers the list included:

  • Chat feature on website
  • High demand for Crystal class for SQL Payroll – needs to be developed
  • User group meetings/roundtable discussions – virtual or live
  • Client appreciation days – maybe once per quarter or twice a year, we have a cocktail hour at the bridge for local clients and send a $10 gift card or bottle of wine to our A clients with a hand-written note thanking them for their business
  • Book of the Month or Quarter with review

Congrats Jessica for not only seeing the issues but proposing solutions as well!

Take Administrative Tasks Seriously.
Administrative tasks are essential to the success of every project. This includes documenting project details accurately and on a timely basis.

Holly has been a great advocate for CS3 getting better and sharing our expertise with our alliance partners. The first great accomplishment put a long-term request to bed for us by completing our first Employee Handbook! Of course, Holly made it look easy (that’s what professionals do!) But this task took a considerable amount of time to execute not to mention bringing her extensive experience to bear.

Speaking of expertise, Holly has also guided us through the creation of our new CS3 Advisors service contract HCM Access Direct. Holly has created a list of services to be provided and initial pricing for contracting with our customers having less than 150 employees. They can make unlimited calls for Human Capital Management advice and Holly is prepared to quote any services which fall under the “project” category. In addition, Holly had two speaking engagements last week and is the new Director of CollinCountyHR on the DallasHR Board of Directors. Basically the hottest territory in the Dallas Metroplex (Allen, McKinney, Frisco and Plano area).

Congrats Holly for both the internal and external efforts you continue to champion!
