Lifetime Achievement Award: Upon the eve of Darrell’s retirement we want to recognize his efforts on behalf of our customers. While there is not a single Service Pillar to point to, instead, we want to thank Darrell for his ongoing service to our community.
This month’s Employee of the Month winner is Darrell Scott!
Along with his wife, Darrell served in the Navy and served several years overseas. This was the beginning of Darrell’s career in conjunction with always giving back to his community. Darrell, I first want to say thank you for your service in the military, we are grateful. After adopting two young boys, Darrell jumped into Scouting with both feet. His support was greatly felt in support of this boys’ troop. He made several trips to Hale Boy Scout camp during his vacation time. He taught at the local ropes course and mentored many Eagle scouts. Even after his sons aged out as Eagle Scouts, Darrell continued to mentor young men pursuing their achievements.
More recently, Darrell has volunteered his time to assist the Little Light House with their Acumatica implementation. The Little Light House is a great organization providing education for children who have special needs. When the staff ran into difficulties supplying the data necessary to convert to the new Acumatica ERP system, Darrell volunteered to assist them with the data extraction on his own time. Needless to say, the staff were very appreciative of Darrell’s support. They personally delivered a Christmas thank you to the office prior to the Holiday break.
Thank you, Darrell, for representing us well and living a life of giving back to our shared community. Your life of achievement is exemplary!
