Running Update Benefits more than one time a day can cause duplicate deductions for linked benefits in Abra Suite v9.1x or v9.2x
Dan Fahey from Dresser and Associates made us aware of this issue and we wanted to pass it on. We have seen this at 2 different clients where suddenly there were some deductions listed twice in the Employee Deduction screen. The cause is when Update Benefits gets ran before payroll is started and then once the Trial is ran something is spotted which makes you run Update Benefits again and that is when the issue strikes. With this in mind be sure to get a backup before running Update Benefits just to be safe.
