The third step in CS3's Plus7 Process for software selection and implementation is planning. This is so crucial to our clients successful implementation that we employed a project manager to assist our clients will all major implementations. Too frequently we saw clients that were understandably distracted by day-to-day operations and found themselves rushing or missing steps in their implementation. This would inevitably result in delays, employees that were not fully trained and go-live day frustrations. Our project manager give the best analogy for the value of project management: Projects need a person whose job it is to see the forest for trees: spotting potential wildfires before they start.
