The presenter for the October meeting of the Tulsa Chapter of the MGMA was Christine Kalish. Chris is an accomplished healthcare executive with almost
30 years’ experience in ambulatory care and academic medicine.
The title of her presentation was “DIY Firefighting for Revenue Cycle Change Management”. It covered topics such as how healthcare reform will affect reimbursement for the practitioner, the basics of a change management process, how to identify key practice metrics and how those may have been affected in the transition to ICD-10 and techniques for actionable changes, prioritizing possible pressure points from the ICD-10 transition.
