Did you know that CS3 supports Scouting? CS3 has a long legacy of supporting both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts through the leadership positions that CS3 employees hold in their Scouting communities, as well as the financial support of various Scouting fundraising activities.
This February and March, Girl Scouts around the country are setting out to knock on doors and camp out in front of retail stores to help raise funds for the many programs that the girls participate in throughout the year. Fund raising strategy and technique are an important part of their success! CS3 Project Manager, Linda Hollingsworth, is active as both a Service Unit Manager within Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma, as well as serving as her daughter's Troop Co-Leader. Her daughter, Kara (pictured here armed with cookies), is in her 8th year as a Girl Scout. Linda is able to use her project management skills learned through CS3 Sage and Acumatica implementations to help the girls set fundraising goals, market and promote their sales, learn successful selling techniques, and track their financial goals and accomplishments throughout the years.
Not only do the girls raise funds to support their council and troop activities, but they encourage the donation of cookies to send to our military troops serving overseas. Last year, the troop was able to contribute over 250 boxes of cookies to Blue Star Moms due to the generous monetary donations from Tulsa residents.
CS3 is proud of our employees, their family members, and their communities for supporting the many Scouting programs that help to make our world a better place.
