This month’s meeting of the local IMA Institute of Managerial Accountants featured guest speaker C.S. “Bud” Kulesza, CMA, CFM. Mr. Kulesza is currently the Dean Emeritus of the IMA Leadership Academy and was named by Accounting Today as one of the top 100 most influential persons in accounting. His career with multinational, multi-industry experience includes his successful tenure as the CFO of ITT Automotive, a multi-billion dollar global company.
His presentation topic was “ A Values Based Approach to Ethical Leadership”. This two hour presentation covered Characteristics of Great Leaders, The Belief Pyramid (Ethics, Morals, and Values), Legal vs. Ethical, Corporate Values, Code of Ethics, and the challenges of Evolving Values and Ethics.
